HAPTIC CNC MINI MILL
This economical, free-standing table-top 3 or 4 Axis CNC
Mini-mill for cutting intra-ocular lens haptics offers high horsepower and
spindle RPM, to produce fine finishes and fast cutting rates.
The high-precision NSK Astro-E air-cooled spindle has a rigid spindle mounting
bracket, and the machine features precision-ground ball screws and closed-loop
servo motors, with optical encoders. The mill is equipped with micro switches
for home positioning (X, Y, & Z)
The spraymist system is available as single or dual nozzle, and a
factory-installed automatic oiling system is included.
Collets, drills and tables (lens-holding trays) are available in various sizes,
to suit the individual IOL producer’s requirements.
DOS-based software is included with the mill (this is compatible with an
IBM-style PC). A Windows NT version is available and the mill is also CAD/CAM
compatible.
